Agnes was until recently the Director of Banking Supervision and the Director of Other Financial Institutions at the Central Bank of Nigeria with 35 years’ working experience. She was the first female Director to serve in both capacities at the Central Bank of Nigeria. She is currently pursuing her PhD in financial regulation under the supervision of Professor Adrian Bell and Dr Linda Arch.
She holds degrees, postgraduate degrees and certifications in Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration, Information Technology, Investments and Financial risk from the University of Lagos, London Southbank University, Oxford Brookes University, ACCA, CISI, ISACA and GARP. She sits on board of other reputable institution like the First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) and EFInA.
