About Us
Fostering Microfinance and Agricultural Growth with Excellence
The MLDC was conceived as a sustainable process of capacity building for the sub-sector that will operate on two important considerations: relevant, world-class curriculum and affordability. With this in mind, and in line with the primary aim of the MF Platform, which is to strengthen microfinance institutions with regards to capacity, to promote qualitative growth and to efficiently manage the quality of services, the Platform members at their meeting of 26th May 2015 set up a Committee to properly conceptualize and set up a Microfinance Learning and Development Centre (MLDC).
Our Services
MLDC will undertakes various research and thought leadership publications aimed at predicting challenges for the Microfinance sub-sector and its stakeholders, in order to infer insights for constructive improvements and policy advocacy.
The MLDC consulting will provides system-wide solutions, which include scalable implementation-type projects, as well as issue-specific organizational enhancement, or programme design and implementation, as well as project management, amongst others.
The ATC, an initiative of the Microfinance Agricultural Learning and Development Center MLDC, is envisioned to be a hub for capacity building in core and soft skills through management and technical vocational training in the Nigerian agricultural industry.
Mounting stakeholders’ expectations, challenges faced by companies to operate under fluctuating economic conditions, pressures of globalization and increased regulatory requirements have brought the quality of performance of the Boards of Directors under greater scrutiny.
