Adetunji Afolabi is a seasoned corporate executive with an extensive background spanning over 15 years in leading learning and development initiatives within the banking, management consulting, and development practice sectors. Currently serving in a dual capacity, He serves as the Chief Operating Officer at MLDC NG, a prominent sector learning and development center specializing in microfinance and agriculture, as well as the Executive Secretary at NMP, the preeminent network of microfinance stakeholders in Nigeria.
In these pivotal roles, He is responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive business strategies, operational plans, and policies designed to advance the organizational culture and vision. At the NMP secretariat, he oversees a spectrum of activities and programs, encompassing stakeholder engagement, the orchestration of international conferences and symposia, and advocacy for impactful policy direction. His multifaceted responsibilities extend to leading the execution of funded capacity building projects across selected Nigerian states. Furthermore, he actively engages in high-level delegations, representing the organizations in visits to esteemed inclusive finance institutions across Europe and Africa.
His approach is characterized by leveraging strategic management, analytical acumen, and refined presentation skills to deliver measurable results that align seamlessly with the mission and goals of both MLDC NG and NMP.
